Anyone knows when gimp 2.8 will be released?
I can't wait to see all those new features.

You can download Gimp2.7 if you want to see the features, it is the development release of gimp 2.8
Regarding the exact date of Gimp 2.8 release, they don't have anything about it on their official website.
