How do you make a characters' lips move using autodesk 3ds m

I wanted to know how do you make a character's lips move like they are talking using autodesk 3ds max?

There are 2 main approaches for animating lips (and facial animation in general).
The older (and easier) way is using morph targets -
You create a morph target for each phoneme, and then use the morpher modifier to animate between the morph targets.
The up-side of using it, is that it's relatively easy.
The downside is that it's limited, and hard to combine with complex facial animation.

The more modern approach is a skeleton-based rig, which, of course, can get as complex as you want.

If you don't have a lot of experience in rigging, I recommend the first method.
