I just got AutoDesk 3DS max 2011 from my school for free(Normally $3,495.00). I am extremely interested in learning every single thing I can about it. I've messd around with it for a couple days and I have gotten absolutely no where. It is so confusing! My school does not offer any classes about it but I really want to learn everything possible, what should I do?

Getting 3DS Max for $0 is a coup, so feel fortunate.
There are a many places to learn Maya and 3DS Max, but the best places to start are right on the Autodesk.com site, as they have links to many training options. I'm assuming you're wanting to get ahead of the curve for your class.

Lynda.com is a paid subscription training site that has many online program courses, taught by industry professionals. There are different levels of subcriptions, but Maya and 3ds Max are 2 of the programs they feature. http://www.lynda.com
