I made a animated picture with gimp, but it only moves when you save it as a xcf file, now i want to use it on a photobucket and the site doesnt support xcf. how do i change it in an animated file that is suppported by websites like gif or something?

Thanks in advance.

Save it as a . gif.

First, go to Save As. The type in the file name along with the . gif extension. Then a pop-up should say "Save as Animation" or "Merge visible Layers" Click on Save as animation. Another pop-up should come up; this will set the speed for whatever your animation is.

Good luck!
