where is the file icon on GIMP2.6?

GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many operating systems, in many languages.

i just downloaded GIMP 2. 6

i know this question makes me sound like a idiot but anyway
where is the damn FILE icon?

i cant see it anywhere.
*an idiot. if i didnt look stupid before, now i do

Look for the word File or press Alt-F, or Ctrl-O to open a file or Ctrl-N to create a new one.
